Who else does STUPID SH!T?!?!?!
My first car, a Nissan Pathfinder, you know, the ones that have the tire rack on the back, the side of the tire rack has to metal joints that stick out about an inch past the side of the truck, I was backing out of my garage, with my moms truck which became my last truck right behind me, so I tried to edge my way past it, real close, I was gauging off of the side of my rig instead of where my tire rack sat, next thing I know Im running my tire rack right along the side of my moms pickup. Two huge dents/scratches along the side of my moms trucks door. Had to live with that as long as I owned that truck.
thats isnt so bad.. but deffinatly frustrating.
The trash guy left my cans right next to my driveway... so as i was turning in.. i just decided to slowly hit em and push them outa the way...
yeah well... i guess it got caught up as it flips but put a scratch in the door about 6 inches long... so painful to look at.. paid a guy $200 to buff it out and nothing...
had i just got out to move it...

Those sort of accidents are embarrassing. I have one as well, but not in the truck.
I had an '05 Mustang (v6) which was 1 year old w/ < 10k miles on it in pristine condition. I literally was backing it out of the garage to go trade it on a brand new '06 Mustang GT. We had recently moved, and my parents had parked in our turnaround. I backed out and went to the left of my dad's car, completely forgetting about the basketball goal. I proceeded to hit the pole with the passenger rear, tearing up the bumper and rear quarter panel.
I was so annoyed that I took it to the dealer anyway and traded it in with the damage and just took the hit.
Stupid, stupid, stupid.

I was working up at the junkyard in town on one of the outbuildings doing soffit, fascia and gutters. as I left for the day, I was backing out around one pile and watching it in my pass. side mirror. I did not see the dakota cab sitting on the ground, and I put a long gash in the side of my truck from the gas filler to the door. I also had the forks slip off of the hitch when I picked up the back of the truck with the forklift to change the tires. Pushed the bumper up a ways.
Its amazing what stories come out the woodworks, haha. Sorry to hear about ya'lls mishaps, I guess it all chalks up to "**** Happens".
The more I look at the bumper, the more it doesnt bother me......as much. It needs to get fixed, sure. But so does the crease in my door, thanks to a Lowes sorry-azz customer. It'll all happen one day, but its on the backburner for now. I think the good look of the level will counter the bad of the bumper
