1st gear and reverse are the same gear, on the impeller shaft on the transmisson,first gear is clock wise, turning counter clock wise is reverse, as for the exact ratio, I don't know, booth versions of the geterag trans G 56 and the othier one ( name I forget ) are verry low geared, pull your teath out.

my hemi with the g-56 6spd is super low in 1st and reverse. im unsure of the ratio as well. but i have 3.73 gears and the hemi though, not the 4.7 you're talking about.

The 6 speed in the 1500 is not the sam as the 2500. Our 6 spd has no granny "LOW".

yeah, that is a completley different transmission in the 1500. I was only comparing.
