so i posted in another thread about how i screwed up my stock 17s and had to replace them. i promised pics so here they are.

heres a nighttime pic of the new rims and how i wish my truck sat. those are my buddies legs sticking out from under the truck. he was changing my oil. i had just changed his. we both lost bets so we had to change each others oil!! lol

here she is this morning after i hosed her down. shes gonna get a real bath wednesday when i have the day off.

i will definetly have to invest in a level if i put any taller tires on cuz there is no extra room in my front fender wells.

 

Man, you messed those rims up pretty good man. Go ahead and put a level on her. The spacers themselves aren't very expensive and just keep the tires you got for now.

 

truck looks good man. I missed the original post about the wheels, how did you manage to do that to the wheel?

 

It involved him "falling asleep" at the wheel and screwin' the rims up.

 

yeah i was wiped out from screwy hours at work and dozed off at the wheel and ran up on a concrete island in the median of the highway at like 65! yeah it sucked!! lol

i appreciate the compliment bear. i really like the new wheels. they completely changed the way the truck looks! now i just got to get her leveled! lol

Yeah, I missed that thread too I believe. Sorry to see you messed up your wheels, but musta happened for some kinda reason, cause the new ones look good!

 

Not to get too far off track southern.....Do you have the center caps out of the 17" factory rims you were running???? I'm looking for a couple. PM me if you are willing to part with them since obviously the rims are toast. lol

johnny im pretty sure the center caps are in good shape. i will check it out when it stops raining.

 

well gawt dayum son what the hell ya go and do that for....ouch...like frog says make a repair a mod....
