Default Very surprised!

I was pulling into Carls Jr. to try that new grilled cheese bacon burger and saw an 06 1500 QC lowered sitting in the parking lot. It looked good. As I was leaving so was he, so I chased him to the next red light to ask about his drop. It was just a 2-4. I couldn't believe it. I've never seen a 06+ lowered in person, man it was slick. I tell ya that Hemi was hard to catch up to in my 6er. I wasn't planning on dropping my truck because well... it's a truck, but hell I got a 6er what am I gonna tow! Seriously thinking about it now.

By the way, the burger was disapointing.

lol!

But yea, I think these trucks look good lowered in a proportional manner like a 2/4. I dont like the frame draggin look, but I also think massive lifts on 1/2 tons look goofy too. If all your truck sees is the pavement, I'd say go for it. Get that nice level look and make your truck a little more functional for your needs at the same time.

Slam that Bad Boy, you'll like it!
Besides lowered trucks get better gas mileage, that's what I told the old lady anyway..

IMO, a 2/4.5 drop is the way to go. There are a couple of ways of doing it but I believe drop spindles and a flip kit does the best job of getting there. Especially if you throw a pair of Caltracs traction bars under it. As for the ProCharger, I have to get my short list done first...
