Efan Which wire is low?

You'll need at least a 60 amp fuse. A big one too, those little spade style blow too fast.

i'm starting to see that... i have a 40 in there now and it seems to be holding fine... the relay is only 40 amp so i hope that holds up...

mine kept blowing the 25 fuse on the high setting, but it is working fine on low!

I ran a ground wire and a hot wire to each one to figure out which was high and low...

what color did low end up being? yellow or orange striped wire?

I think it is yellow, but I dont know for sure. like I said just touch one to power and listen, then try the other one one will run faster.

my buddy was wiring that end, lol and I know we switched to low when it kept blowing fuse. but i can check in the morning to see which one i am hooked to.

i got mine off some crazy dude on craigslist. got the temp controller from advance auto. turns on at 180 and off at 165..

smkn- i'm wired to the yellow striped wire and it still blew the 30A fuse. a 40A works fine... froggy said yellow stripe wire was low, and the frog is never wrong

i never doubted him........I just said mine was not blowing a 25 amp fuse.

I bought mine at a junk yard, got my controller at o'riellys
