Default exhaust, intake, now what?

started off with dual exhaust, switched to a decent intake, what mod next for my ram? i'm thinking

a) throttle body spacer, i heard it's paper weight for the 4.7 and they are really meant for carbureter engines but will help the pick-up speed of the truck

b) making exhaust "true" exhaust. my new ehaust is new pipe from the middle to the chrome tips, but up to the throttle body or w/e it hooks up too is all stock. thinking about changing that to make it "True" exhaust. i dunno how much of a difference this will make so let me know if this would work or is just dumb

c) chip / tuner. something like a cortex or Superchip 3865 or whatever i find that i like best buy the time i buy the next mod for the truck

d) supercharger!!! once i sell my kidneys.

All the throttle body spacer is good for is to throw at the guy tryin to sell you it, as for exhaust if you rebuild from the manifolds back I'd recommend gettin either some shorty headers or LT's. The superchips would be next on my list if I were you though. Give you a bit more vroom vroom and then you can datalog as well.

I dont believe there are LT's for the 4.7. My vote is get a tuner. Superchips gives you retarded powergains, something like 48 hp and 50 lb-ft or at least thats what they claim.

I thought they at least made some sort of shorty style header for the 4.7's? O well I still say get the tuner worry about the other stuff later.

i think the tuner is a good way to go, though i would also vote for shorty headers. stock manifolds are pretty restrictive and the shorties will give ya more sound too. either way

year of my ram is 05.
they DO make headers, but the ones i've been referred too were about 800 dollars.
but, think i'm going to go with the tuner. unless anyone can convince me that tb's are the way to go

A ported throttle body is a great mod and adds a bit of pep to the truck but a throttle body spacer is a waste of money....

Go with a tuner, dont expect 50hp/50tq though, you may see about a 20rwhp gain but no where near 50/50.

Good luck
