After spending some time thinking about what direction I wanted to go with tuning I finally decided on a cam and bought it today. I decided to go with a Sidewinder cam so I could still run Superchips trans tuning and not need to go with a stack. Now I just have to buy myself a couple extra tools and I will be ready for the install. Needless to say, I am pretty excited to finally be headed toward getting a cam in my truck

No eBay phonies here......lol. I got it from a guy over on the l x forums. Wouldn't risk trying to buy one from FRI after what weed went through.

I'll be honest with you guys, I thought about dropping the Barbie limited edition puzzle in the engine but I just don't think the trans could handle the power

 

nice. i think lt headers will be my next performance mod. a cam is on the short list. hopefully i can pick my hood up from the painter today. im thinking the roll pan will be a next days off project. i need to get a price quote to have it molded bc i have never paid for the welding before but my buddy's welder is broke...frowny face
