Default **Update** replaced my front, center seat

Today was fun, i've still got a bit to do but it came along well. Anyways, i've only got one picture, but ill be updated by the weekend, and hopefully finished. The subs under the seat just werent cutting it (if you had them youd know), so im replacing the front center seat with a custom sub box i made today. Wrapping it in Vinyl and putting it in this weekend.

Tell me what you think!

I really wish I had dem skillz. I got the tools (skillsaw, jigsaw, etc), just not the knowhow. Whats the plan for the sub, firing back toward the seats, or forward? Looks good though, thats probably over 1/2 the airspace you had in the other one.

Are ya just running the single sub? Eventually I wanna get a 3rd type R for that same box setup, and get a different one of under the rear seats. ONE day

Def. keep us posted. Some specs would be cool too...

Thanks for the interest guys, there's actually a sub hole in the back, one pointed towards the back seat, and one in the front slant, on top is for my arm to rest =]. Its about 3.2 cubic feet of space, and i think the old box is like half a cubic foot for each sub haha, so its a big difference. I tested it before i caulked it and filled all the holes and it was bumping, even with the air finding its way through the cracks. Had my overhead lights flickering haha.

And hey i would build you one! let me get this all done first and if youre really interested we'll talk.

Ill definitely try and finish by the weekend, super excited for the fit and finish.

Box specs, demensions and whatnot. Hell, your setup too, like hearing about different combos. Hell, if there's that much space, Id just go a tad shorter, so I could put the factory console back on it, and run a single 10. That would still be plenty space for that.

Im just thinking out loud about what I wanna do. I would go 1 12, 2 10's, but its usually better to keep everything the same size.

well my setup is a 2000 watt amp with 2 kicker comp 12s, the reccomended perfect air space is 3.5 cubic feet for these two, so i made it this big to get close to that, im at about 3.2. its 27 inches deep on the bottom, 20 on top, and about 16x17 wide/tall. fits nice and snug where the other seat used to be, and i figured this was a much better use of the space =] haha.
