Hmm thats an idea, thanks for the pictures, the only thing Im worried about is changing channels and such when driving, Ive never had a cb in a vehicle before so I dont know if you ever have to screw with them while driving or not, Im gonna be making a bracket to mount it infront of the middle seat this weekend but Ill get someone to hold it where you have yours mounted first while i sit in the truck to see how it works there.. Any of you guys runnig ext speakers or a PA??

This is my first cb and it didn't take long to know whats what while driving and not looking at it, you don't really need to mess with the ***** once you get it to sound how you want with more or less RF gain and that and changing the channel is easy to do not looking at it. And im getting an external pa speaker, either the cobra one or something else, and gonna put it behind the bumper or grill.

Im thinkin about doing a PA eventually.. Sounds like fun and a guy I was wheeling with last weekend kept using his if we were on the trail and had to stop at a fork to decide where to go, everyone in the other trucks could hear him.. Im also thinkin an ext speaker under the hood to so if im sitting around a camp fire and someone goes off for a bit, that way I can plug it in and hear if anyone says anything and I dont have to be sitting in my truck.. I dont know if they wil go that loud though? I found cobra PAs and ext speakers on cragslist for pretty cheap .
