Default De-badging

Ok on my 07 ram i want to de-badge my truck to where i take off Ram 1500 and the ram logo on my tail gate. i asked my dad about me taking it off and he said no because he thinks the paint is faded underneath it.

Do you guys think it would be safe for me to de-badge it or do you think the paint is faded?

I think you will be fine, rubberfrog (George) had a video on youtube for debadging. It was on dodge talk somewhere, just search here or there and you should find all the info you need.
