If you go by what you read on vehicle forums before you buy, you will be walking! Most people search out a forum as a last resort to fix their problem, usually after striking out with a local mechanic or dealership.
Half of the people are here because they want to modify their truck but the other half are here to solve problems.
This is NOT indicative of ALL Rams that are on the road, just as with Cheby, Furd or 'Yota forums would be...

you could go to a toyota forum and not be able to stop your truck or tell it when to accelerate.

Very few people are going to come to a forum and say "My truck is trouble free, just a great truck". It would be a pointless post. Most are going to come here and ask for help with problems. So you are not hearing the whole story from all the Ram owners.
FWIW, I have only had mine for 2 months so I dont know s**t, but Ive been modding and learning. IMHO, SO FAR, its the best truck Ive ever owned. Im 35, so not old, but not young either, and I have had Fords, Chevys, Jeeps, Toyotas, etc. They dont match up.
If the forum scares you, turn off the computer and go drive your truck and make your own assumptions. 2 cents.
