"Air Ram" intake system...comments?

do you think you would get more dust and dirt in your filter using this?

I know this is a REAL old tread but I just found it on a Google search... so If its still coming up on a Google search then this means others may find it and want to know the answer... So its back... LOL

To answer the above question, the Jet Stream is an Air Director and not a "SEALED" system. This is a benefit because heavy objects can not flow like air can. So dust and water will physically hit the Jet Stream Scoop and loose its energy stopping in its tracks after hitting, although some dust may find its way around the obstacle, it would be very little and your unlikely to notice a difference in filter life cycles. Water would be stopped in its tracks... it will/can not find its way to the filter.

So the JET STREAM SCOOP directs all the cold air your engine could possible use from directly in front of your vehicle without the worry of gaining increase dust and water to your engine.
