Ive heard that its pretty common for the air to come from the passenger door when your on the highway or if its particulary windy that day. If that makes sense. Its like that in my truck anyway

im a Mechanic and Take Great Care of my 2002 4.7 Quad Cab 2wd Auto truck.

In less than 100,000 miles the dash has cracked , the Engine has gone Bad twice , the Heat controls have quit working , the Heater Blend door broke along with 2 other doors, the Rear end has went out twice, the U joints were bad , the PCV Valve went bad and the Throttle Position Sensor went bad. I have now Put 3 Radiators in it... I pul a 1700 lb Race car once a month in the South East on an Open Trailer so Can't say Im ******* it.. It just Sucks !!!! If it wasnt Paid for Id Give It Back...

(((((((( BUY A Cummings or Buy a 2004 and up Hemi !! DO NOT BUY A 4.7 !! )))))

haha alot of people are saying the trannies are bad but how many times has it gone bad on there own truck? im guessing not many. the truck has problems like every car truck w/e does. the 4.7 has been kicking around for a bit now between the rams dakotas and jeeps, its a strong motor as long as you dont over heat the sucker. its all aluminum so be careful. dont be afraid to check your fluids at the dealership. before i bought my truck i brought it home and checked everything from the balljoints to the cigar lighter. I would suggest getting the 4.7 for the wife over the hemi for fuel economy alone.

I get as good a mileage with my '06 MDS Hemi QC 1500 as these guys are reporting with the 4.7,plus I got quite a few more ponies under the hood to pull around those pesky heavy trailers. Why not get the Hemi,if you want mileage buy a Honda. My 2 cents...
