A buddy of mine had his stock muffler put back on from his 2007 5.7 ram. He thinks the muffler shop put it on backwards. I looked at it and it seems fine. Can someone post a pic of the stock muffler or draw a diagram or something, to show the center/ offset of how the oem muffler should be facing?

I don't think anyone here has a stock muffler to take a picture of...lol

 

Just go find a truck out in Walmarts parking lots or something.

that's just the tail resonator, you can't get that one backwards as the tail end of the exhaust pipe is part of it.

 

Oops, thought that's what it was, but wasn't sure. I'll see if I can get one of the muffler, kinda hard though without getting on the ground.

 

stick your arm under from the right side of the truck, right about where the read door is on a quad cab.

 

theres only one way it goes on both sides have hangers and different ones....
