Question Ram tuning kit, Chip, Performance Upgrade Recommendation?

Ram Fanatics,

I am reaching out for some opinions and recommendations on a performance upgrade chip/tuner for my 2007 Ram 1500 - Reg cab- Sport - 4x4 - 5.7 liter Hemi...

I currently have:
K&N FIPK CIA
Magnaflow muffler, on a custom bent exhuast out passenger side behind tire.

I have no idea what company or product to start with. I noticed the new Superchip thread earlier today.... Is Superchip the best way to go?

Do it myself or can anyone recommended a truck tuning specialist around Boston, MA. All car tune shops around here, and i want someone who knows trucks and especially my Ram!

Anything to help me start is appreciated.

Thanks

superchips is the way to go UNLESS you want to have a custom tune at some point (sounds like you do). if you are planning on getting an aggressive cam and will want/need a custom tune, then diablosport predator. Don't even consider going anywhere else.

And you gotta figure out if you are going to install it or let a shop do it and what is your budget?

Ya can't go wrong with a Diablosport Predator. Works great on my 08.

If you want future custom tuning capabilities go with Diablosport Predator (DSP) or SCT. I'd go with DSP if I were you because they offer trans tuning as well.

I am absolutely going to let a professional do the upgrade and chip.
I face one problem how do you find someone that knows what they are doing? I'm located in Boston if any knows a specialist....

Havent really thought about a budget but I'd say max $1500 for chip and install.... hopefully an installer warranty hahaha

Thanks for the advice
