Default Rancho Quick lift.....anyone?

I am interested in leveling the front of my 2007 1500. I keep hearing about the possibility of the front end "shuttering" under acceleration when using a basic leveling kit. I’m thinking I might go one better and use the rancho quick lift system. Anyone here using this system and if so any issues?

I installed a set on a buddies '06, same issue as most, he had simple coil spacers and got the bad vibration syndrome many with the coil over front ends complain about. Now he says his ride is BETTER than stock...

i just got my rancho quicklift kit in the mail. dont think that it will level your truck 1-2.5", thats false. It only levels it 1.5". I measured my fender to wheel gap and front was 6" back was 8" give or take a ¼". Now I dont know what to do because the front will probably still be lower by a ½". The guy told me that the level height on the quicklift piece is predetermined for each specific vehicle. Can anyone give an accurate height as to what the front of a 4wd needs to be to sit level? If its more than 1.5" im sending these back.

You need just a hair over 2" to sit dead level if you measure. Right at about 2.25". The one set I installed for the guy looked level, but measured about 1/4" off. Dunno how it only measured 1/4" off when it says it only raises it 1.5", but the tape don't lie.

Im not too worried about sitting dead level, my big concern it the "chatter". I want to go up to a 275 65 r20 and want a bit more spce up front. So your buddy has had zero issues with the kit....no chatter?

I was also told that the height will vary due to the condition of the springs. 1/4" is not noticeable enough to send these back, but I hope after my install I come out with good results. Does anyone have a diagram of our front suspension (2007) that labels the parts? I need to know what all has to be removed. I want to make sure everything is torqued back down to oem specs. When the brake caliper is removed do the brakes have to be bled after they are reinstalled or anything? (probably a stupid question)

well installed my quick lift kit this weekend and it rides good, but definately did not level the truck. its still off by 1.5". i knew i should have went with the 2.5" spacer instead. RANCHO QUICKLIFT

I am going to call rancho and complain. Dont say its going to level the truck if it doesnt all it is a really expensive pair of shocks that are adjustable. I want to return them but its not exactly a 10 minute job. I dont know what to do

You still running the rancho, if so what size tire are you running? I’m still interested in the rancho....not looking for dead level. I'm more concerned with any bad vibration when accelerating in 4wd. I live in northern Canada so my truck sees a bunch of 4wd time and don’t want to turn it into a vibrating pile of junk which I’m concerned the 2.5" spacer kit will do.
