so i have a 2wd 2004 dodge ram 1500 (4.7 V8 which will be swapped with a 360 crate soon hopefully, and additional info on how easy/difficult that would be would be greatly appreciated as well) without posi trac. one wheel is driving the beast and it would be great to have both for greater traction. what do i need to buy (and where could i buy), how costly would it be, and how hard would it be to do?

 

For street use DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT get a permanent locker. Get a limited slip like an Auburn or Detroit Tru Trac. It can be done yourself, BUT if you don't know how to properly set backlash and things of that nature you'll eff it all up and be out several hundred bucks.
