Get the 2.5" it's only like 5 or 10 dollars more. I put mine on when I had 300 miles on the truck and it went fine. After 23,000 miles it's still doing good. Hopefully your front end comes apart easy enough being that it's almost four years old. Either way it's an easy install, took me close to an hour and a half by myself.

I got the Hell Bent also. It's a great spacer it's made as good or better than other spacers that cost twice as much. Are you buying it off Hell Bents website? I just looked and the 2.5" kit is actually the same price as the 2" kit. Either way you won't be dissapointed.

I didn't use a coil compressor but you will need a tie rod separator fork or or puller. The forks tend to mess up the rubber seals if not used just right so the puller might be better. Mine came apart with the tap of a hammer but like I said my truck only had 300 miles on it. You don't want to have the truck pulled apart and discover you don't have all you need. The best thing to do is when you get the kit read over the instructions a time or two so your familiar with it and they should tell you what tools are needed also. Like I said before it's an easy install.

i put a 2.5'' on mine and it was alittle to much so i put a 2'' in instead. its a 2006 megacab 1500 its not to hard to do, a spring compressor really makes it nice u can rent one at a rental place for like $12 for half a day. i put a top gunz kit in
