yeah the tint laws here in Wa are pretty crazy. Can only have 70% tint. All tint MUST have a sticker from the manufacture certifing the tint % and it has to be applied between the tint and the glass or else it's a hefty fine. Definently only a brow on the windshield. If you're even caught with the front side windows with anything darker than 25% tint, they can and will impound your car...especially repeat offenders.

Maybe they don't care about enforcing their tint laws in Michigan lol. I looked it up and it's almost worst than here. You cant even legally have ANY tint at all below the top 4 inches of your front side windows and windshield.

I could get 15% all the way around legally. I just have 20 front two 15 back two 15 rear. Nothing on the front. But I could do 15 if I wanted. I need to redo the rear window tho. Its starting to turn color a little.

20% is my limit on any glass. Any darker and you just cannot see that good.
You say HID's, but that means your peripheral where the lights don't shine is non-existent.
I suppose it would be fine for city driving, but for country roads it's dangerous IMO. I have prescription glasses i use for driving. I refuse to drive without glassses on my head so i have both normal and presc. sunglasses. A couple of times i was out late and only had my sunglasses so i would wear them at night so i could see better, but i really couldn't. I'd rather deal with slight blurriness of not being able to read road signs until I'm right ontop of them than not being able to see an animal crossing the road. BTW, my sunglasses are 75%. Glasses work opposite of tint, so essentially my sunglasses would be considered 25% for car tint and they were way too dark for comfort and I have killer headlights!!!
Don't you have registration or inspection stickers that g in the windshield? A cop can't see through the tint really to see them so I don't see how they wouldn't give you a hard time?
