what would you want to? Are they bigger or have more clamping pressure?

since i had my truck i noticed the brakes were always soft and spongy, but thought that was normal. well i did a search about it and apparntly the older gen 3 rams brake calipers are crap. a couple guys said they swapped out to the 07's and it was night and day. and now that im due for a brake job im wondering do i just get new pads/rotors, or do i get new pads/rotors and a set of calipers from a 07? i can get them for 110 a set so its not terrible.. just wondering if the bolt right on. and i looked and the pads are different, so i dont want to replace my oem pads and then decide that my brakes still suck and then decide to get new calipers cause then im eating $55 from the new pads.

my 03 never really had a "spongy" brake problem, and when i had to replace my calipers i just got the replacement that they had for it at oriellys and still dont have a problem with them
