i just got mine inspected here in beaver and i had a pea size hole before my muffler and the stupid guy with a pony tail mullet failed me. pa laws suck
Plate or not... they won't pass it. Try to go to a place with a big fat guy that won't want to lean down and look underneath. Avoid the skinny little tweaky guy, he has too much energy.
I woudlnt say 100% wont pass.....there are planty of places around here that pass cars with no cats......its just knowing or taking it to the right place....I say take it in, worst they can say is no, then you can take it off
They may pass it if closed, and you dont go to a chain inspection station like sears. I had a v8 t-bird with no cats and it passed. I dont have a problem with the dodge it doesent even get the emmissions ran on it.
That sucks about PA laws, thank god there are no inspections in CT. On my cutout, there is either a wire cut/loose, or the motor is fried, since when I go to close it, nothing happens. I went for my emissions test today, and I was worried that they would say something about how loud the truck is. But luckily, like I said earlier, we don’t have any inspection, and all the emissions test is that they hook it up to a computer, and as long as the vehicle computer says everything is working, you pass.
