These stupid PA laws really suck. They really make owning a vehicle here a pain sometimes.

Yeah man, PA sucks I live just north of pittsburgh... Just talk to the mechanic before hand- buy him a case of beer of slip him a $20

This is true.
This has helped me and other friends out a lot!

Who's to say that you put the cut-out on "after" the mechanic inspected it.

I woudlnt say 100% wont pass.....there are planty of places around here that pass cars with no cats......its just knowing or taking it to the right place....I say take it in, worst they can say is no, then you can take it off

They may pass it if closed, and you dont go to a chain inspection station like sears. I had a v8 t-bird with no cats and it passed. I dont have a problem with the dodge it doesent even get the emmissions ran on it.

That sucks about PA laws, thank god there are no inspections in CT. On my cutout, there is either a wire cut/loose, or the motor is fried, since when I go to close it, nothing happens. I went for my emissions test today, and I was worried that they would say something about how loud the truck is. But luckily, like I said earlier, we don’t have any inspection, and all the emissions test is that they hook it up to a computer, and as long as the vehicle computer says everything is working, you pass.
