hey, i live in pa as i hope some of you guys so also , i have a cutout and i know alot of you guys run them also, can i pass inspection/emmsions if the cutout is closed and if i have cats infront of it ?? its a electric cutout i dunno if i would have to take that off to put on a plate maybe too get a better chance??
Pa is F'd up .. with all the emission crap.. I live 1 mile from the Butler county line in Cranberry. Im in Beaver county. I need emission testing but 1 mile up the road doesnt.
Either test everyone or dont do it at all. I would say remove it as most inspection stations are by the book with all the crap they have to put up with?
Put the plate back on it and tell the guy that you have it on there for use at the track (unless you welded the motor peice on that is) and other than that the plate stays on it, in other words DONT say its an electric cutout.
Plate or not... they won't pass it. Try to go to a place with a big fat guy that won't want to lean down and look underneath. Avoid the skinny little tweaky guy, he has too much energy.
i just got mine inspected here in beaver and i had a pea size hole before my muffler and the stupid guy with a pony tail mullet failed me. pa laws suck
