Hood hasn't been up on the internet for one day and Silver brought this to my attention:



I emailed the guy about seeing it next week, so I'm waiting for a reply back

If everything goes smoothly, I will see if my neighbor can powercoat it in May just in time for summer!

Nice looking hood, but why would you powdercoated it and not paint it?

 

Cheaper to get done I think, but I'll have to talk to my neighbor and see which route is best. I'm not too intelligent when it comes to this stuff lol..

good find. ****** it up quick but first see if he'll take 400. cuz i know at least for me it was 400 to paint my new hood so any amount you can knock off the whole bill is huge.

 

haha sure will, I just got off the phone with the guy and told him I can check it out between the 15th and the 19th since I'll be on break. I told him I will call him back on Friday the 12th so we can set up a day so I can swing by and grab it.

Yeah I hear ya, I will try to bargain with him a bit when I go to check it out lol

I'm gonna talk to my neighbor this weekend and see how much he will charge and whether we should paint or p/c it...

 

Don't let it get away, people jump all over those srt hoods. Hell, I have a stock hood on cl that I get at least one call per day about, he must be getting 20 calls for that hood.
