To the OP or anyone else thats done this, did you completely flatten the guards or did you install them with the slight curve in them? I'm painting mine right now to install tomorrow.

Yep, I de-badged early on! It looks so much cleaner that way. Grill looks tight as well. Nice looking truck. Make sure you buy Pops some brewski's.

I flattened it a little...i used the pre-existing grill inserts to shape the new pieces

When i did mine i took the inserts out, and flattened them out.
