Default Subs and Boxes

I've done searches and I want to go with a Fox Box for my QC. One of my questions is whats the max mounting depth for the dual 10 box?, my subs are 4 3/4 inches. Also is it a must I raise the rear seat up?

Those subs fit fine, and yes you will need the spacers. Where are you located? I actually have a Fox that I may not use? I'm in N. Texas.

The way the Fox box is made you have to have the seat spacers to fold the seats back down. The box has a bezel built into the top that keeps the subs from hitting the bottom of the seat, but to get the deep 10's in the box and enough air for ported, the spacers were needed. Actually, the spacers are nice.. most of the trucks you can fold the back of the seat down after the spacers have been installed.. Nice when the amps are mounted on the back wall.,

She might not have a FoxBox..but like what was said earlier to fold the seats down you gotta put in the spacers. I dont even think the spacers raised it a noticeable height.

I agree.. plus, you might actually get a little better sound with the increased air space on the front side of the cone.. Most subs don't like be crowded....

I am on my second pair of subs only because I like to change mine every now and then. I have a set of shallows and have not had to put in the spacers. my trucks sounds nice. If anyone needs a pair of shallows I have a pair that I would like to get rid of. I have no need for them anymore. Thank you
