I wouldn't have signed the ticket. If he had a call and you realized it, i woulda played his bluff on that one not to mention if you already knew about the 25mph over thing. That's 6points here in NY. 12 and your done. 2 or 3??? speeding tickets within 18months and your done. I'd look up into that one for you as well.

 

i'd fight that tooth and nail, get that dropped. your insurance might go up because of his carelessness.

 

A ticket is supposed to be an officer's statement of facts. If one aspect is wrong, especially purposefully, it seems to me that the whole thing should be dismissed.

On one of the cop shows a trooper explained why he never lowered the speed on tickets because he is swearing that everything on the ticket is as-observed.

 

Take it to court, you have a case that you can at least get it lowered to the real speed.

 

You go to court the charges most likely will be dropped. you will still have a fine but there is too much grey area in this case!

 

And thats what I want. Thats what i was doing was 86. He also didnt add in the street racing on the ticket. If I can get it lowered then I can take defensive driving and get it removed from my record.

 

Lucky on the street racing, back in 2003 I think they changed it from a class C traffic violation to a Class B Misdemeanor if my memory serves me.

I would fight it if it was me.

 

+1 on going to court; but this has nothing to do with karma.

 

What i meant by karma in my case is, when I do things the legal way or safe way I get in trouble. The rare case that I am reckless I never have an issue with the law. Im not a "reckless" person by any means.....we all do things we shouldnt :P

 

Well guys yall may lose me for a while....I could lose my license for this apparently. 6 points on your license and it can be suspended.........If I cant correct this I will have 7
