Isn't there also owner procedure that allows MSD to be disabled? Something like key on/off while holding the brake orsomething like that. Don't know

A friend of mine has a 08 and I thought he had done something along that line, but he also has a SC3865 and may have used that to disable the MDS and I mis understood.

I would like to hear what you did to the exhaust??? I love the truck but you are right when the MDS kicks in I would swear it has a dead cylinder sound.

Also I'm in Cape Coral FL for a while and would love to get something done to my exhaust before heading back up north. I've opened up the CAI with a K & N drop in and I think anything else is being held up by the factory exhaust. Any one have a thought. Thanks

I spent $380 just to turn the MDS off. I got me a Diablo Predator. If you plan on doing just bolt-ons for the most part, get a SC 3865 as it does just the same.

However, with spending that money, I also got the benefit of trans support. What a difference. With MDS turned off and a modified shift schedule, I am loving the truck. If I had to go back to stock, I would sell the truck and buy a different brand cuz the transmission tuning that chrysler does to these things is disgusting. You have no idea how crappy your transmission really is until you get a tuner and realize what your missing.

True 'dat!!!

I have a cam sitting in the box in the garage cause I can't find a suitable tuner that supports the cam & the tranny firmness!
I am still running the older Superchips 3825 and never knew how **** poor the tranny shifts are until I tuned the truck back to stock.
The transmission tunes alone are worth every penny of the tuner cost!!!
