Electric Fan Help !
Ok so after an almost rainy day of installing my Taurus E-fan, I'm at the point where it's all mounted up, shroud back on, etc . . . Now I'm at the wiring it all up. I have the same controller as Teach in his DIY and was wondering which wire to use Br/Or or Br/Ylw . . .
Also did you guys happen to cut this thing, circled in red, off ?
And if anyone has any pictures of where they mounted their controller (can be different) and where they ran the wires, that would be awesome.
Thanks!

you dont need the ac wire, you have a separate fan for you ac, you can mount the controller on top of the ac condenser fan shroud. by some plastic wire loom and tuck all the wires in that
here is one of many threads that cover info lately it has pics in it https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...re-is-low.html

Perfect, Thanks. And I remember following that thread too haha. Just so anxious to get it up and running before the mechanic comes by tomorrow to check on my gears waiting to hear good news and closing it up with the new oil in it.
Well I'm off, gona try and finish before I lose all day light.

yes it runs with ignition off, i was worried at first but ive stood at my truck to make sure it doesnt keep comming on and it all ways seems to run one cycle and then it stays off. (at first had controller temp really low and it did kick on 2 or 3 times.. it takes a day or so of driving and temp changing to get it set where i wanted) ive only had my efan in for 2 weeks but no issues yet with battery drain
