Why is my truck cutting off?
So my uncle doesn't know either. Now sometimes when I stop it will do ok and slowly decrease rpms till it's at about 500 and just stay there. Then sometimes it will get way low and jump back up like it always did. If it still sounds like the transmission thing can someone explain to me how to fix it and if not, what else it could be? I've cleaned the tb, changed the pcv, changed spark plugs, and don't know where else to look.
you have a faulty cut off switch in the tranny I thought only front wheel drive chevy's had this problem. It's called a throw out switch when you slow down too a light the switch takes the tranny out of the drive gear its in. if this doesn't happen the vehicle stalls I know i'ts a quick fix I t sure sounds like it. Let us know either way even if it means a trip to the dealers
