My seats are okay....havent every real thought about them that much i guess...but there nothing compared to my last truck which was a tahoe. That thing had seats that felt like lazy boy leather recliners. They were nice imo. But I think the seats could be better, but they get the job done.

I have an 08, but got them covered in leather from the factory, and they are pretty comfy. The only uncomfortable seats are the rears, because you cant adjust the recline.

05 here and the only complaint I have, is on the driver seat, the foam is breaking down to the point where I can feel the frame on the side of my hip/butt.

my 03 drivers seat is non-existent... i guess the guy who had it before me was a heavy guy because the difference between the drivers seat and passenger seat is like 2 inches! i might try to take the seat cover off and either re-do the foam with the DIY in the faq section or ill just shove some foam under the foam thats there already to raise it up a little. i feel like im 5'2" when im driving cause i sink so low in my seat.

Mine is an 04 SLT Sport with cloth seats. I think the driver's seat is comfortable and supportive as I don't feel like I slide around when driving and can be comfortable on long drives without needing to stop. I have the manual adjust lumbar support, which I like very much and it makes a big difference for me as I have back issues anyway. But my one gripe is not the seat itself but the power adjustment. It's a 6-way power adjustable seat, which I would have never asked or paid for if I could have spec'd out every detail on the truck, but I bought it off the lot. And the rear up and down adjustment has been broken for a couple of years now. The motor still buzzes when I hit the switch but the seat doesn't move. And it appears the only way to fix it is to swap the entire thing out.

Got an '08 and i think the seats are flat, hard and exactly as you stated. it was the first complaint when i got into the truck for a test drive. i figured they would soften up a bit, but they are still hard as a rock. The back of the seat totally blows IMO.

after reading this thread i decided to go out, take my seat out, and put some old t-shirts in pillow case and put it underneath the foam. its a little harder than it was before so ill eventually get a piece of foam to replace it, but it sits higher now and i feel like im at the height i should be. its a quick fix but itll work for now. it took all of 20 minutes.

jk360:Im going to have to check out that DIY to see hard that would be but the seats are so hard already im not sure how hard it will be to add more foam(maybe with new seat covers...)
04HemiGreg: I wonder if the "sport" seats are a lil different? They must be better than mine anyway
dirtydog: Glad someone agrees with me. Im thinking grabbing a drivers seat out of an 04 or 05, something like that would work pretty well. They should bolt right up and since i want to wrap it in leather eventually anyway they'll all match
