Who LOVES/HATES their seats?
First of all, HI EVERYBODY
(i love the Simpsons)
So i have an 07 1500 SLT QC and i think the seats are pretty crappy. They are hard, flat, and have almost no side bolstering. Today i was talking to a guy with a '05 1500 SLT QC and he was saying how much he loved his seats, that they were nice and cushy
.Im thinking i might try to find a '05 drivers seat for myself. So, please tell me what you think of your seats! Include year and trim level.

mine is an 04 slt. i like my seats but i do have a gripe! the frame of the drivers seat has worn through the foam and torn a hole in the fabric. as far as comfort i dont have a problem. i drove my truck from jacksonville north carolina to jacksonville florida and back and was comfortable the whole way.
My 03 came orignally with a park bench for a seat. I bought a SLT Laramie 04 leather 10x seat off of eBay and think it is is great. I would swap it for a SRT seat but that would be for appearance sake not comfort.
ive got an 02 QC sport and i love my seats. they are cloth and i would say the only complaint is the lumbar support. i drive from south to north CA all the time and im 6'3 and have plenty of room to stretch out.
i have a standard model '03, seats are good, i drive a 6-11 hour drive from Bozeman to Idaho about every 3 months and am comfortable. i also have some hatchie bottom seat covers in the front, coming soon to the back seat as well.
I also got an 07 quad cab and I love my seats, especally since they are the water resistant by "yess" Or w/e.
I just need some nice covers for front and back!
Oh and the simpons is awesome

hmm...maybe i need to break mine in more (30k) but i doubt it. i just feel like im falling off the damn thing when i take a turn, its like sitting on a park bench.
Edit: mine also have the water/stain resistance which is nice but not a big deal to me since i wanna cover them eventually anyway

My 03 SLT had the same problem as Southernbnp after 192,000 KM. Our 03 2500 Hemi with service Body at work is worn out too as some of our techs are big lads and although it only has 85,000 KM theres alot of on the truck off the truck in the run of a day. As for my truck the 03 SLT I did like RedTruck-VA and got the Laramie seats (02-05 Type). I had a recycler guy I trusted and he eventually found me front and back (Quad Cab) 05 Laramie Leather from a truck with low miles out of the Vancouver area. Black leather with the slate inserts on the back rest and Ram Logo. I love em. The wife complains that the seat cushion is too short out the front for her legs (she's 5.9) but I don't find a problem. The Back seats came with Headrest (02,03 didn't have that) and fold out floor pans. Front seats are power. I figured out the wiring and got those working, but Heated seats not yet hooked up (-40 Cold) but I modified and mounted a switch plate with 2 switches from an 07 into the dash where the open slot is under the OEM tapedeck. there was a switch for rear window but took that out and covered it with a stainless Ram Logo. I will use a heat pointing sensor from work to assist with the wiring hook-up. The cost for these seats was expensive but worth it to me. Apologies-Long Post-but relevant.
Solution. You could have the bench re-upholstered
