Default Weird Brake Problem

Now I've read on and on and on about everyone elses brake problems, and none seem to match up to mine. I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L. I THINK my brake problem started when a deer ran out in front of me so i slammed on the brakes and hit a pot hole while doing so. The next day when I applied the brakes I could feel the pedal kicking back on me, kind of pulsating. when I let go, i could hear a faint pulsating sound i cant really describe. Also when i hit the brakes to come to a complete stop the pedal feels like its pushing back at me, when i come to the stop it clicks rapidly and releases pressure from the pedal. Now i CAN still stop, but about a week ago my ABS and E-Brake light came on. After that the pedal stops acting up, and the noises go away and I can brake normally, without ABS of course. I have checked my pads/rotors and theyre still in pretty good shape, also checked the fluid level and its fine. Any feedback would be great, I can't figure this out for the life of me.

It sounds like you have a problem in your ABS system. I would start by checking out the ABS sensor on the rotors.

i agree cause when your abs kicks in it will push your peddle back and release it just like you discribed. so i would say your abs is messed up
