2002 Chrome 17"s = 2005 Chrome 17"s??

Just want to make sure these are interchangeable. I'd like to replace my passenger side rim with curb rash and I found a 2005 rim.

Also, why did they go to 245/70/R17 stock? I thought my 265/70/R17's were small.

a) yes, bolt pattern is the same 5 on 5.5", long as they are both 17s you are fine.

b) if I were to guess, I'd say cost savings...

My 2002 came with 245/75/17s. It a 2wd, maybe thats why.
