Default what controls tranny shifting times?

I was wondering what controls the tranny shifting times...Mine seems to shift up into OD and/or turn on MDS I think going through turns just starting out at 15mph..going up hill..you would think it would need/want more power to get up the hill but no,it shifts up...I just dont know if there is a sensor that could be bad... IF its not MDS and/or OD its too high of a gear none the less. What sensors are involved with the transmission shifts other than just the main computer.

I think your feeeling the surge of the MDS kicking in, It can feel like a downshift but its just a drop off of power what tire/wheel combo are you running and what rear end gear do you have?

IHave you considered a tuner? SC will allow you to adjust your shift points. Also give you control of your MDS.

Yes,I got it on the way actually along with other mods. I just think the tranny isnt functioning properly or the TQ Converter is slipping...like i mentions before,it wont hold itself on a small hill sometimes...sometimes it will. I just dont have money to drop on a Sheradon or a new tq converter at this point. I def. want to get 4.56s sometime in the future... I was under my truck today,i bought it with a slowmaster(good thing my Magnaflow is on the way)..I just wonder if they had a tuner and have a milage tune on it or something.
