Default Headlights auto switching to fog lights

When ever I turn on my head lights and no fog lights I will be driving and my headlights will turn off and my fogs turn on then they will switch back, this also happens if I have just my parking lights on and no fogs on, the headlights will come on and switch to fogs then switch back to just the parking lights. It does not happen all the time but enough where it is stopping me from driving at night cause I have gotten pulled over by 5 cops so far for flashing people.

Any ideas on what to start looking at to resolve the problem?

Probably a loose wire or wires or maybe a bad switch?

I would suggest cleaning the bottom of your IPM and fabricating a cover. The replacement now comes with a cover I am told. It corrodes and I see you like deep water.

Sounds like a no-brainer to me lol. When I used to have my old truck in deep muddy water all the time I had problems like that all the time.

Default It took about a month to find but......

I took me almost a month looking on Amazon for a set of LED Headlights that worked in my 91 Base. I finally ran across DOT approved 70 watters that are a plug & play setup. They came with an adapter that plugs into the unit and three wires that have blade connecters for your factory plugs. Came with instructions but you will need to figure out which wire is which ( ground, low beam, high beam) I think I paid about 90 for them but they were well worth it! They have a wide precise pattern on low & on high well focused individual beams you can see REALLY see down road.
