Default Hesitation from a stop?

Hello, I am a new guy here. I have been having issues with my 05 hemi 4x4 auto having a hesitation right off idle and chuggin under 2000 rpm. It had a p0406 code which is a EGR flow sensor voltage high.

I have changed all the plugs, champions copper core oem #, changed the PCV valve, cleaned the back of the throttle body, and replaced the EGR Valve.
While it has gotten better, not stalling anymore not chuggin as bad, it still has a hesitation. If I take-off super easy its not there. If I floor it, its not there either. Just seems to be there at a normal take-off.
What am I missing? I cleared the code after I replaced the EGR valve, and it hasnt come back yet, but I only have about 15 miles on it. Do these things have a TPS or something like that? Any ideas? Thanks, this is a great site that I just found a few days ago.

P.S. truck has 94,000 miles on it.

I'm baffled, could be bad gas that does happen throw some dry gas in on the next fill up and see what happens at least you'll eliminate one possibility these daays 91 or 89 for that matter stay in the ground longer cuz most cars get by fine with 87 and its cheaper.I don't think stabil wil help cuz that retains what ever it is added to. doesn't make fuel better.

Hello, thanks for the reply. We have pretty much only put 87 octane with 10% ethanol in it since new. It has only had maybe a handful of tanks at 89 octane which also has ethanol in it here. It is my wifes truck, I dont drive it alot, but I think this issue has been going on for awhile. She complained awhile back about it, but she said it was a shifting issue( shes not mechanically inclined at all, and meant after shifting to drive) as she is typically very hard on the go pedal. Thanks

My 5,7 hemi insists on 89 or better. I'm surprised your wife isn.t complaining of pinging!! the manual says nothing under 89 octane switch and it should go away it may take awhile one way too have the motor relearn its true function is too disconnect the neg batt term for 5 minutes with a fresh tank of 89 or better it wont be long for your troubles to go out the way of your tailpipe!!

Plugs, PCV, Cleaned TB, and EGR all in last 150 miles. Thanks

P.S. this was the first time any of this was done also. at 94K miles. I just found the forum, and didnt realize that the plugs werent 100K plugs or the TB cleaning was routine maintenance. The inside of the intake looks fairly dirty too like the TB did. Not sure how to clean that without removing it.

Maybe resetting the thottle? All else fails try a reboot. Don't really know, just keep cleaning and checking.

Resetting the throttle is key on lights out, and slowly press down throttle and slowly let up, right? What is a reboot? Thanks
