Default part time solution for banging noise on leveling kit!

soo i got real annoyed with the banging sound of my A arm and spring bucket hitting, soo we have a shop rag bin with some old towels in it i spray painted them black and i tri-folded them, then ut a hole at one end stuck it over the top of the shock that sticks out of the spring bucket andcut a hole at the bottom and took some zip ties and zipped it to the coil spring so it didnt move, works pretty good!! it bottoms out still but doesnt make the loud bang sound like it did, but they are starting to rip so im trying to think of other things i could use instead that would last longer.. i was thinking about using a piece of a rubber matt that you lay in the bed of the truck hopefully that will work

Glad I could help. it's amazing how many alternate uses you can find for relatively cheap goods.

I put some thin vinyl carpet on today. It helped quite a bit. Fatbobs tried to sell me bumpstops for 20 dollars, maybe I should try them? I guess I could cut a piece of an old tire or something

I am taking mine into a shop to have them look at it. I want the warranty now. Peace of mind for me.
