I have a 06 ram 2500 hemi
I just truned 70,000 miles on it, and the valves are tapping very very loud!!
a night and day difference from 68,000 to now
WHAT happened??
WHAT to do to fix?
I bought it new, run, Amsoil in it since new!

is this a normal problem??

Do a search on "Hemi Tick" and you should find a ton of info

 

this problem has been around for years (the hemi tick) did you always have it ? if so just use some good synthetic oil mabey a little thicker . if it just now accoured after that many miles you could have different problems

 

I had a very light noised in the past
but as of turning 70,000 it got very loud!
and as such, I am worried, I may have a bigger problem!
