Goodbye Chrome
Ok, as maybe a couple of you know, I plan on dechroming the truck. I have already started as of today. I took off my mirror covers, door handle covers and gas plate. I plan on putting some smoked rain guards on in May, along with painting my door handle covers to match the truck along with painting the handle to the tailgate also. I'm just curious as to what some of your opinions may be in order to do away with the rest of the chrome. Pics below, she hasn't been washed yet ;
Just to throw out there - I do plan on upgrading to 285/70/17 Terra Grapplers eventually

I want to paint those but my neighbor does this stuff all the time and he quoted me at like 700-750 bucks for the grille and bumpers. I just don't want to throw that kind of money at it
I've wanted that for a long time but my gas tank is in the way so there is barely any room for another pipe on the left side.

Although going to a professional paint shop ain't really gonna help you much because that's about the going rate at a shop. Of course they got A LOT more overhead than your neighbor.
Of course, it's hard for me to feel for you, 'cause if it were up to me, I'D BE ADDING MORE CHROME!!!
