Surprisingly all the bolts came right out for me, no rusted bolts at all and I was able to get around my exhaust to get the one's that hold the bed on. Made the disassembly much easier.

What about towing? You said you removed your hitch, can the hitch be left in place?

you can get a hide-a-hitch and a flp down licence plate braket... you wouldnt be able to drive around with the ball as it would make the plate flip down, but when your towing its no big deal

Nah, they look good on any truck. Cleans up the back of the truck real nice. And since I never tow, it was nice to get all that extra bulk off there. My truck can still carry lumber which is all I ever use it for anyway.

Its day time..... no pictures???

And as for the lowered truck thing, I saw a lifted truck with one and it looked tight.

I thought removing the rear bumper will void any insurance funding if you get rear ended? I'm sure it will look great, but me personally, I couldn't fathom driving around a 5,000lb.+ truck without a hitch. Can't wait to see pictures though..
