Welcome Rik,
This has been discussed many times. You can use the search function using "highbeams". This is a thread that also covers the subject: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...ms-are-on.html
I have a couple ideas that I intend to test shortly. Good luck..

Yesterday I tried that DIY Hammer posted but I wasnt able to get them to work still. Could have been a bad connection I suppose. But ever since trying it, my lights will no longer flash when I lock or unlock the doors. Maybe one of those blocks shorted? I dunno. My blinkers and everything works fine still.

Ha Ha Ha, you should see the summbiotch now! I got more wires than a damn Christmas tree!

When I did the cab lights, I had NO CLUE there was a harness in the passenger pillar, so I got them wired in there and I ain't changing it till I have to, removing that headliner is a royal PIA!!!

Efan is now wired in there as well and I'm fixing to put a set of Hellas on, which will need power, now that going to a smaller winch carrier let me put my center bar on my grill guard.

Next project: welding a battery box behind the bumper for a 2nd battery.

and to the OP, sorry for stealing your thread ...

A few years ago I had my mechanic disconnnect the pog light harness and re-flash the computer to think that I did not have any fog lights. When I reconnected the fog lights I was then able to run both my fogs and headlight and/or high beams at the same time.

This was by far the easiest but you need access to the codes adn computer. My mechanic has been working on my wife's and my MOPAR's since my 1991 Jeep XJ.

Good luck!

Matt

yeah, it's a simple setting with the StarScan at the dealer. They simply set your lights to "Canadian Mode". But the problem is, it's illegal here in the states, so you usually have to know someone at the dealership to get it done...

Short of the StarScan at the dealer, I've not heard of a fix for the '06+ trucks...
