I never liked steps until I put installed the lift on my truck and now my wife cant even jump to get in it. so i had to make some.

I like the looks / function of them. They stop alot of stuff from coming up and hitting the rocker panels. I've also seen them prevent door dings from a$$holes driving cars and parking too close to your truck in a parking lot. And as steve05ram360 said, it stops people from climbing up using your door.

if i were to get steps those would be the ones! or the ones that swing down when u open the door!

i wanted the AMP powersteps but i didnt have $1400 just laying around for them. so i spent 100 on material and saved 400 instead of buying the N-fab ones. I just made some exactly like them.
