hey i got a 05 ram 2500 QC HEMI...... was told i could fit 20"rims w/ 33" tires no need to lift and no rubbing, but dont kno how wide of a rim i should get.. also what exhaust should i get (i no ive heard some exhaust actualy loose power, also which intake should i get....???? any help would be appreciated............

i think ou should be able to get 35" on without any rubbing. As for how wide, i wouldn't really want to go any wider then you have now or they will stick out.

my 2500 quad cab has 35x12.5x17's on it. No rubbing at all. Love the Cummins too.

He could run 35's w/ a 2" coil spacer up front.

You have the cummins, which the diesels have a slightly larger and stiffer coil. (not sure how much higher)

As far as the 33's go...yeah, you'll fit them no prob.

Also, the rim size in width....not sure about 20's but 17's (smallest rim you can use) mostly come in 9"wide or 10" wide so a 12.5" wide tire will do fine.

Most 20" off-road tires will be a 35" or larger. I haven't found a 33" yet.

thanks guys apreciate the info. im just gunna do 33"s (by 12.5" wide) on my 17" stock rims (to broke to get the 20's i want).......

iirc aren't most stock wheels 7-7.5" wide?

And if you're looking for an off-road tire because you're actually going to go off-road, leave the 20's for the posers. They'll hurt your off road performance unless you're running 40"+ tires.

i have the stock 17" i wann put bigger tires on b/c i cant afford new rims plus i have the better 17"s i kinda like them. so whats the widest tire i can put on the stock 17"s ..............a 10" tire????
