Nice. Cant buy, one make one.

Just open up a shop called DIY customs, when somebody needs something just charge them money for the idea and tell them to DIY.

I made 'em bi*ch!!! Has your CAI fallen apart yet?

Oh, they are pretty secure. You gotta exert some pressure to snap 'em on and pull 'em off. They ain't gonna fall off by themselves, but they could "walk" off. I'm gonna get a little nicer plate bracket than the $1 plastic crap, but not so nice that its too enticing...

yeah it was... you said you needed twice that size, so I kept it. You don't wanna go to Lowe's or Home Depot for aluminum or steel right now, I can promise you. A sheet of diamond plate aluminum in just 1' x 2' is over $50!!!
I'm going up to the farm end of next week for about two weeks, I'll be able to get my hands on .063 or .080 scrap pieces left over from signs for what they sell it off as scrap for. Some pieces can be pretty decent size, like 2' x 6' and I can latch onto a piece that size for under $10. Only problem is the guys there ain't so careful with the leftover polished aluminum pieces and usually throw them in the bin, so there may be a few surface scratches to buff out. So just let me know how big you need.
