i got an idea for ya....get like a pocket chain on it so it would make it more of a pain to steal. Just permanently attach one end to the fairlead frame and bolt the other end to the back of the frame. Then when you use your winch you can just let it hang??? The chain would nee to be just long enough to allow the plate to be pulled off so it'll be danglin a little under there. Not sure if that sounds appealing to you. Just an idea
