Couldn't resist the "BLING BLING"!!!
OK, I just couldn't live with the cheazy, black plastic license plate bracket I used when I made my fairlead cover/license plate bracket.

I ventured to the flea market and found a nice, stainless steel one that the auto accessory guy had for $10. Haggled him down to $8 and jumped on it. So I now have a whopping $14 in my mod...

Yeah, it's basically a MagLite D-Cell light bracket kit ($5.88 at Wally World) attached to a blank license plate I punched out of aluminum and painted black. I used a punch press to make another plate with the "HEMI" punched out over the blank one.
At first I used a cheap plastic plate holder to border the outside, but I ended up picking this stainless one up today for another $8.

Yeah, I like that too. The open fairlead is a more aggressive look, but the plate really cleans it up for going down the road.
