Yesterday while cleaning my truck i noticed that a bunch of those studs on my rockstars have rusted. WTF. has anyone else had this happen. Can i replace them, do they come out? any other options?

 

mine are doing the same thing... its not rust because they are cheap *** plastic... its just the chrome peeling off of the plastic. they DO come out. I took a socket that fit on them and took one out, they arent threaded in, just pushed in but they seem to back out ok... I have yet to contact KMC to see if they sell replacements but i havent seen any around.
If mine get really bad I will pull them all out (hopefully not wreck any) and paint them gloss black... its about all you can do..
Let me know if you find somewhere to get the "bolts"
