Default help please...

So I recently got into a T-Bone with the truck... my fault... no abs on the truck and slide through a light and nailed a 09 nissan altima... totaled theirs not mine... went out to go try and start the truck today... no such luck... tried the original key... nothing.

its not the steering wheel lock... i can turn the wheel back and forth a good bit and wont budge. in the ignition

it wont go to accessory mode either. frankly its kinda pissing me off im getting issue after issue with this truck... and the main thing that kinda ticked me off was. my truck has an abs light and it just locked the brakes up and skidding i went... so on that fact. yes i have pictures. and im more worried about getting my ignition to start so i can start going to body shops for repair.

Im no expert on this at all but since noone else will help you ill try. Id start with taking the column apart, all the plastic pieces that are screwed in around your steering wheel. Check everything that is involved in the ignition. Look for jams or broken pieces. Im sorry i cant really be more help. Ill do some research

As said before, you are going to have to take apart the steering column and see if something is binding and at worst, replace the ignition switch.

On a side note, I bought my house 2 years ago but had all the locks replaced and keyed alike. I come home one day from work and my key no longer works in my front door. So i have to go around back and get it through that door but my point is nothing changed and everything had been fine for so long. Evidently, the pins in the lock got screwy and now either has to be re-keyed or replaced.

This is no different for you
