Default Campshaft Position Sensor Replacement? P-0340

I threw a code for a Camshaft Position sensor which would hopefully explain the misfiring at >3k rpms. The plugs have about 30,000 on them so I wouldn't think they are bad quite yet although I will probably replace those as well. Would you guys recommend me changing the sensor? I read that it could be a short in the wiring to the sensor, but I really don't see that as happening as often as the sensor going out on a truck with 180k on the clock. Also, can anyone point me in the direction of where this sensor is and how hard it is to replace?

Sadly, I have a 4.7 so it's going to be a little different it looks like

But looks very, very easy to replace and only $24 for the sensor.

Read this http://www.obd-codes.com/p0340 , yup it looks like it's probably the sensor. If you have the factory spec you can check the resistance of the current sensor. But for $24 it doesn't hurt to replace it first... ;-)

Should be in the front of a head since that's where the cams are. Probably in the driver side head since that is where cyl#1 is.
