Having a problem with my interior lights!!
One night i noticed my interior lights would not go on when i opened my door. The underhood light also does not work. I checked all the fuses and all the bulbs. All checked good.
All dashboard lights work, but noticed when ignition is off battery will start to drain. Battery is new!
A friend told me there could be a switch in the door that could be faulty.
What did i miss?

 

yeah, check the mechanical switches in your doors. one could be stuck

 

could be a bad ground almost every thing on this truck is run off one wire with different resistance to ground
